Help yourself from the chakras to relieve your back pain

Knowledge of the chakras is still very low, but today they are tending to become more democratic, thanks in particular to the evolution of technology. A simple search on Google now makes it possible to better understand their powers. Did you know that a blocked chakra can be responsible for back pain?

The human body has nearly 88,000 officially registered chakras, but it is more precisely 7 of them that play a major role in the functioning, balance and good health of our body and therefore of your back. Your daily life is globally affected by the chakras, whether they are correctly open or not.

Unfortunately, when your chakras are not sufficiently active or, on the contrary, too passive, physical disorders can appear such as lumbago, sciatica or herniated discs.

What is a chakra?

To fully understand why back pain and chakras are linked, it is enough to know more precisely, what a chakra is and how it works. To find out more, (re)discover our complete guide on the 7 chakras.

Chakras are simply energy centers, which interact with each other. Just imagine an energy flow circulating along the spine and moving from one chakra to another. When the balance and proper flow of energy is respected, your mental and physical health is positively improved, but if the energy is disrupted and one or more chakras are blocked, you may experience negative consequences.

There are seven main chakras in our body:

• The root chakra, located at the base of the spine (coccyx).
• The Sacred Chakra, which is just below the navel.
• The solar plexus chakra, below the chest (lung).
• The heart chakra, which is just above your heart.
• The throat chakra, located at the jaw level.
• The Third Eye chakra, between the two eyebrows.
• The Coronal Chakra, which is at the top of the skull.

How does it work exactly?

As we said before, the chakras help to improve and harmonize the good health of our body. As soon as there is a disturbance, i.e. one of the chakras is blocked, the whole energy chain is impacted.

More generally, a blocked chakra can have two possible problems :

• Either it turns too fast, because it is hyperactive
• Either it is in slow motion because it is under-active.

Too many people in the world have only two or three properly balanced chakras, resulting in significant discomfort.

Is back pain related to the chakra?

The answer is clearly: YES. Obviously, our chakras are directly responsible for the pain and genes you may feel in your back. Usually, the causes of chakra malfunction are more emotional, but can sometimes be due to a physical disorder, such as an illness. The important thing to remember is that whatever the cause, the reaction is always related to the chakra.

More specifically, it is the root, sacred and sometimes solar plexus chakras that are responsible for these pains (give priority to balancing the root chakra). In fact, back pain acts as a warning, generated by your body, that you need to take better care of yourself.

Identify the origin of the energy imbalance

In order to effectively treat your back pain (be it sciatica, herniated disc...) you must first determine the cause of the pain. Very often, once again, it is an emotional dysfunction that is involved.

And yes, the back directly expresses the emotions and feelings you feel during your life and if something prevents you from moving forward, it makes you understand it. Find the pain point to determine which chakra is at fault.

The sacred chakra and lumbar pain

This area of pain is triggered by a lack of freedom in your actions, as well as in your thinking. It also occurs when you are dependent on someone or feel depressed, when someone asks you to do something you don't want to do, or when you're not sure you're getting what you want.

These emotional and psychological limits that you set for yourself, most of the time alone, block the functioning of your Sacred Chakra.

The solar plexus chakra and pain in the middle of the back

You may be affected by one of the following "symptoms" that prevents your Solar Plexus Chakra from being fully satisfied:

• Poor self-esteem.
•An illogical concern about what people think of you.
• A lack of self-confidence.
• A feeling of inferiority in relation to others.
• Being pessimistic, never having positive thoughts.
• Concealing your true feelings and "locking yourself in a shell".

Of course, the list doesn't stop there, but you get the point, it's about psychological barriers directly related to yourself.

The heart chakra: pain located in the upper back

You are in pain in love, family or friendship or you are unable to make yourself appreciated by others. On the other hand, you may be indifferent or, on the contrary, excessively jealous, and also have a feeling of mistrust, because of which you do not give your trust to anyone. These are signs of a dysfunction of the heart chakra.

How to relieve your back pain using the chakras?

From what we said before, you suffer from a blockage on one of the first three chakras. To visualize its functioning more simply, you just have to see it as a wheel, either at a complete stop or as a "free wheel".

The objective is to reach a normal threshold, which automatically adjusts its speed. To succeed in really balancing the chakras that need it to fight back pain, one of the most important elements of this success is undoubtedly envy. You must always keep in mind that this is your goal. The most important thing in balancing the chakras is to do them one by one, but most importantly, starting with the root chakra. It is the pillar of the other chakras, that is why it must be cared for first.

Several methods are at your disposal to open your chakras:

• The practice of Yoga.
Reiki.
Meditation.
• Hypnosis.
• Sophrology.

Steps to successful balancing

To obtain good results, you need to do a complete work on yourself, focusing particularly on an effective method.

• Use hypnosis to free yourself from blockages that may be buried deep in your subconscious mind that you can't get rid of.
• Pay particular attention to your life colors: that is to say the colors you use in your daily life (the clothes you wear, the fruits and vegetables you eat...) and which are directly related to the chakra you wish to optimize.
• Do a work of personal introspection, asking yourself the right questions and doing practical exercises to identify and understand your psychological blocks.

Thus, it will be easier for you to reduce the energy nodes and understand their origins (emotional, relational, psychological...). In addition, you will find the strength to carry out projects and to follow, once again, your life's path.

Maintaining the balance of the sacred chakra against back pain

Once the previous steps have been completed, and you have balanced your root chakra, you can simply deep cleanse your Sacred Chakra to obtain almost immediate relief of your back pain and maintain balance over the long term.

After making a lifestyle change - including physical exercise and better nutrition - doing energy therapy on one of your chakras can be a viable solution to restore harmony.

Here are 3 tips to accentuate the healing of the sacred chakra:

Diffuse an essential oil of Ylang-ylang (very effective) or Sandalwood in your living space.
Practicing regular meditations by focusing on the second chakra and on the yellow or orange color will help you benefit from a more pleasant balance. The ideal is to meditate on an acupressure mat to relieve the back.
Finally, the use of orange Carnelian, Amber or Citrine crystals stimulates the balance of the sacred chakra.
